Chantelle is a champion West Coast Swing dancer and Principal with the Golden State Ballet. She bridges the worlds of classical ballet and contemporary partner dance. When not in a tutu, she teaches and performs West Coast Swing internationally alongside her husband, Joel Torgeson. Chantelle is a five-time US Open Showcase top-five finalist and has earned top 10 placements in the Classic division for all three of her routines with Christopher Dumond. A 2022 Nova Star inductee into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame, she is recognized for her rare blend of classical refinement and competitive swing excellence. She is also a NASM-certified personal trainer passionate about strength development and fitness education for dancers.
